String Method_Summary "The thermosalinograph was integrated into a flow-through system which is comprised of a series of tubes and pumps which pull water in from the bow of the ship just below the surface (~4m). The instrument collects real-time data which is saved on a computer through Seasave software. To download the data off the field computer, logging has to be stopped and restarted after the download, separating the data into legs. Position (lat/long) was recorded with a NMEA GPS device, which was then connected and synced with thermosalinograph real-time data through the Seabird deck-box.";
